In the Diocese of East Anglia, there are eight Foundations of the UCM - others are based at Aldeburgh/Leiston, Costessey, West Earlham, Haverhill, Ipswich, St Neots and Walsingham/Wells.
There was a special celebration in our Dereham Foundation last year, when we celebrated our 40th Anniversary.
Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month at 2pm.
Sometimes we invite a Speaker, sometimes we go out together for lunch or for tea, or visit places of interest.
Above all, we offer one another friendship and support, and try to keep a motherly eye on the needs of our parish and the wider community.
Some of our activities involve fundraising, enabling us to support a wide range of projects, locally and further afield.
